Hsab events & meetings
HSAB's primary events are social gatherings for Honors students called General Body Meetings. HSAB events are typically held at the Honors LLC or Peabody, and are meant to help students relax from their studies and hang out with other Honors students! Often, there is free food and activities at events as well.

Events
SOCIAL EVENTS
HSAB hosts many social events throughout the academic year. One event is the Honors Formal, which is a Homecoming type dance for Honors students held each Fall. HSAB also helps new students transition into the school year and Honors program by helping at Honors Convocation.
ACADEMIC EVENTS
HSAB puts on a number of academic-related events throughout the school year, meant to help Honors students bond with Honors faculty and Honors professors, especially the Honors Student, Faculty, and Campus Partners Reception in the Spring.
PHILANTHROPY EVENTS
HSAB is dedicated to serving the Miami University and Oxford communities and holds philanthropy events during the year to help out both entities. The most notable is Make a Difference Day (MADD) held in the fall, where students are split into groups and travel throughout Oxford to perform service projects. Other projects include campus cleanups, writing get-well cards for nearby nursing homes and hospitals, and charity fundraising events.
HSAB Families
HSAB is like a family to our members... and we want our members to be close! HSAB creates families at the beginning of each academic year, with upperclassmen as heads of the family. Being a part of an HSAB family is a great way to connect with other HSAB members and learn from each other's experiences. Throughout the semester, we have family competitions, such as a campus-wide scavenger hunt and a marshmallow war.
